On 27th Jan 2010 Apple unveiled tablet PC called iPad. The look and design of iPad is indeed very sleek. The 9.7 inch display, full touch features, virtual keyboard, e-reader, 10 hours battery etc. are some of the features that iPad offers. The new feature is the photo turns as you turn the tablet. So you can view it both horizontally or diagonally. It’s best for web surfing, e-reading, photo and movie viewing. Despite loving this gadget my first reaction was that it looked like a bigger version of iPod Touch. Though of course, iPad offers several new and exciting features that iPod Touch doesn’t have.
And yes, there was this pretty ‘intimate’ iPad spoof that floated all over the net hours before it’s release. The more they make fun of this product the more people will buy it, I assure you!
I would also like to share what Paulo Coelho said on the release of iPad: The world is in trouble when we see that iPad is more important than iRaq (Iraq). That’s his view which of course is true and it makes one believe that we live in the materialistic world where all we care about what pleases us. So it is all about ‘I’.
Everything apart, the fact is that iPad got me excited at least for the initial few hours. I don’t know if I’ll ever use it but I know one thing for sure that Apple products are very innovative, stylish and user friendly.
