I am

November 19, 2008

I am as far as the star in the sky

Don’t wait for me

Forget me like an unfinished story

That would have no happy ending

If you desire the peace of mind

Don’t enliven the world of

Your thoughts with my memory

My hold on this is that the ‘undo’ thingy doesn’t exist in real life; you can certainly make yourself fall in love with someone, buy you cannot make yourself fall ‘out of love’ if things don’t work out right. Or put it this way: just like you cannot make someone love you, you cannot make yourself unlove that someone.

I wish if one could ‘unlove’ without having to cross an ocean of pain! 😦

Love is synonymous with pain (at least that is what I think)…

I believe in cherishing the feeling that you love someone – Its an AWESOME emotion – it doesnt matter if you are with them or not – you are lucky if you have felt love in your life – Many are born without love and die without having ever felt it in their lives – so memories are like your backup battery to keep your soul charged.

Why do people want to be out of love in the first place – I never understood that – love should be selfless – dont ask for return and its wonderful. 🙂

Well, my take on that issue is a bit different. I think togetherness is necessary.

Sometimes its not possible for two people to be together and you have to part ways – then what – you cant go back and redo it – just add it to your life as a treasured memory that made a better person out of you – love does that – it makes you a better person – so just continue to be same even if the love leaves your life – thats hard to do – but letting go is the hardest part of all.

Let me simplify – If you loved a guy, while you were around him, you were a different person – so try to be that same person forever, even if they leave your life – Why? Because it was your feelings for the guy that made you strong so you tried to be a better partner for him – if he was not equally strong and left you behind – there is no reason to undo the good things that have been added to your life and your own personality.

The YOU and YOUR in there is not pointed at you Ayesha – Its a figure of speech 😛

To me, separation kills and letting go the most difficult thing in this world. I agree on this with Ayesha.

Thats the scientist for you – the practical one – couldnt agree more on that – Life definitely goes on, and sometimes you are relieved that the torture of loving and not being loved back is over and done with 😛
