The house

That was home once

Now seems so tired

Like an old oak tree

The house

That was relief

The house with cracked walls

Like a cracked heart

The house

That was mine

That was ours

The house of joy… The house of sorrow

The house that was…

    The last lines are evoking emotions of melancholy; the testimoney of an impressive write.

    Home is where the heart is
    and if the house isn’t home anymore…
    all those memories, joys, sorrows, recollections hold no value, no significance

    thoughtful piece of work would stimulate similar feedback …

    i might be writing something on aliens, but i tend to make it more of a non-fictional documentary… but then again, i’ve been naive more than often :S

    Very melancholy. The GHOST part is so true – I get flashbacks everytime I go home to my mums house.

    All the time – but I like to think of good flashbacks – the things that made me really happy in my past – then I get nostalgic as I want to be there again – which one cant do 😛
