I used to read that too

September 28, 2008

Two books I loved to read. These are based on comical characters called Ool Jalool and Munshi Munnaqa. Both were created by Muhammad Younas Hasrat. There was one another comical character called Chacha Bhulakkar because he used to forget everything. That was created by Zakia Bilgrami and all these storied used to publish regularly in Taleem-o-Tarbiat.

Good old times…

I loved Chacha Bhulakkar…there was that particular story where he went to buy sabzi from Jumma Bazaar and I used to find it so hilarious that I used to laugh aloud whenever I heard it! 😕 😀

And thought having a zambeel like Umru Ayyar would be so cool! 😀
