What was special about 6th September 2008?

September 8, 2008

Not that Zardari was elected the President of Pakistan.

Not that a suicide bomber struck on Kohat Road.

Not that it was a Defence Day of Pakistan.

Not that the earthquake of almost same magnitude hit twice in 24 hours.

Not that personally 6th of Sept. is a special day for me.

But… after a year (and I repeat after a whole frickin’ year) the light didn’t go for straight 24 hours – not only that but the voltage remain stable. Everything was roshan and bright. I didn’t feel any strain on my eyes 🙂

We should all mark this as a significant day in our calendar, for not just one but several of life-changing events that took place this very day. 🙂

Yes, and the list tops with the election of Zardari 😛

    Haina!!!
I’ve read production is up by 800 megawatts but most Lahoris think Zardari had hidden lots of power somewhere just for his election day.
There was no load shedding in most localities on Monday either.
