The paper says he is looking for a safe exist passage. I think he is answerable to nation on too many things. Electricity crisis, Flour shortage, Judges issue, Lal Mosque, 12th May Karachi carnage… who will shed light on all that. Who is responsible for all that?

I agree it is not good to hold one man responsible but then at that time he was the one having all the power. How time changes? Tables turn around. About 7 years ago he had sent NS in exile and today he is going to be exiled. It may not be exile in strict sense but yes, he may not prefer to come back for a while.

But then all these are assumptions. We don’t know what will happen finally. We don’t know whether US would let this man live. We don’t know anything yet… but it amazes me how the graph of success, power and popularity changes.

All these people forget laws of nature and Almighty Allah. Musharuf, Nawaz, Zardari, Chaudhrys and all the rest will need to face what they have done, and they will either in this or next life. But most importantly we need to remember Pakistan suffered through their hands constantly and excessively. All these issues Ayesha you mentioned are more than enough to have a concept of impeachment invoked against all whether its Musharuf or anyone. People are finally waking up to the truth…

Let’s hope things get on track in Pakistan… because this man and his administration has done irrepearable damage to the country. We are confronted with not only terrorism and militancy but other issues (I mentioned) as well.

Yes Ayesha, I agree to you. He also changed Hadood of Allah by bringing an unacceptable Women Protection Bill. He must be brought into court for handing over 100s of innocent people to USA for the sake of US$. He was selling the Pakistan Steel Mills in just a price that even was less than its land value. All present crises are due to his self created anti-Pakistan policies.

Politics in Pakistan was never pure in thoughts and deeds. Agreed corruption and hunger for power exists everywhere, we unfortunately surpass the human threshold… May Allah (SWT) guide us all to the right path. Ameen!

To me he did a great wrong to the society of Pakistan by drawing a line between them and dividing them as extremists and liberal. He struck a severe blow to the homogenity of Pakistani society hence appeared cracks in the very unity of our country. He was loyal to all but Pakistan and he was pretty much successful in deteriorating the internal security of Pakistan so that forces outside find it easy intruding here once he is gone.
May he reap the fruit of his own actions!
