I like these WP themes…

That is my 300th post! I started this blog about 15 months ago and I am glad that I was able to keep it active.

I should thank you my friends for your precious input on my posts and for being a regular visitor. I hope to continue writing here. Although at times I terribly feel being run out of ideas

PS: I see WordPress reverted back to the old smilies

My blog has been under attack by spammers and pornographers. I didn’t have enough time to check the comments and today I just happen to click on one of those and it took me to some porno site. I am sorry if you too have clicked on any such comment which apparently looks fine but is linked to the indecent site.

What I like about WordPress is that it gives you total control on comment moderation. So dear readers, have patience if your comment is held for moderation or doesn’t appear for a while… it will appear when I check and approve it.

Here I’d like to mention that it was good to see that WordPress changed the style of smilies. Some of them are:

I didn’t like the one with tongue out. Don’t you think the tongue is just too long?

It’s hard to believe that this is my 200th post

It’s been awhile that I am having problems with my (all) browsers and blog. Like I update PunkyMood but I don’t see any update while the visitors can. I changed the theme of my blogger To The Imaginary World And Back but I still see the old one. While I am sure visitors can see the new White Dots theme.

It doesn’t end here. You wouldn’t believe that I still see my old favicon instead of the new one… that I uploaded a week ago, alpha in green. I cleared the personal data (browsing history) including cache and reopened the browser but the problem persists. And that is only with my blogs. Other websites work fine. So that’s quite annoying!

As for comments, all decent, logical, critical and unbiased comments are most welcome; not only from the trusted bloggers and friends but general readers as well. So I want to make it clear that I don’t moderate comments of those, whose comments have been approved the first time. So if your comments are held for moderation, bear in mind, that is not me it’s rather WordPress. Even my comments go into moderation on Asma’s blog.

I must admit… I liked it. It looks cool both the dashboard and the page where I am composing my blog.

I uploaded a photo as blavatar that will appear in the address bar next to my blog URL but I can’t see it. I think that is a cool new feature from WordPress. Besides I am waiting for the WordPress 2.7 that will be released in a couple of hours. Let’s see what changes it offers. I wish they also introduce some new and interesting themes.

At times my blog takes so long to download. I have no idea why. I even removed unnecessary items from my page but still the problem is there. I hope WordPress 2.7 is faster too.

Why someone would search for the President of Pakistan’s telephone number Don’t they know they are inaccessible creatures? And above all why the search engine led that someone to my blog 

I was checking themes on the WordPress and there at the very top a theme caught my eye. It looked different and new to me. I am not sure whether it really is new or I had not checked that before. So I tried it. It looks greats and simple. I might try it sometime… well change isn’t in the offing but then you never know I might like to switch to it…
