My blog has been under attack by spammers and pornographers. I didn’t have enough time to check the comments and today I just happen to click on one of those and it took me to some porno site. I am sorry if you too have clicked on any such comment which apparently looks fine but is linked to the indecent site.

What I like about WordPress is that it gives you total control on comment moderation. So dear readers, have patience if your comment is held for moderation or doesn’t appear for a while… it will appear when I check and approve it.

Here I’d like to mention that it was good to see that WordPress changed the style of smilies. Some of them are:

This is most likely to be my last post of 2008. I am on WordPress since May and it’s been an awesome experience. The pleasure of posting entries, sharing views and receiving comments is unforgettable.

Overall speaking 2008 had been a tough year for Pakistan in every respect. And I have written so much about it. Although the clouds of war are hovering on our country, I hope and wish that new year is peaceful and prosperous for all of us!

I got this new bank note yesterday. First of all many people would be relieved that 5 rupees note is back. Secondly, it’s small in size like 10 and 20 rupees note AND… when I saw it the first time, it felt like a note from the monopoly game; maybe due to the dark blue color at the back. This note carries the picture of Gwadar port. The dark blue color is of the water actually. The quality doesn’t seem very good and I am sure by the time market is flooded with those notes they would already be worn out like 10 and 20 rupees notes.

The State Bank of Pakistan has also issued new 50 rupees note but I have yet to see it.

I must say that drawings are horrible I wonder why I didn’t feel so when I used to read them

I changed the header once again, twice in a month. And the DP too. This time I have opted for a painting made by Nicole Wong. I like the girl sitting under the tree, reading book with her pet dog beside her.

Is it only I or everyone likes changes? I think when I am restless I try to bring in change. It’s not consistent.

Before I start writing, I need to have a right kind of pen and paper. I should be in a mood to write or else I throw both of them somewhere. I have many diaries, writing pads, copies and pages but since some time I can write only on a plain piece of paper preferably colored.

At times I write the whole piece on paper and then type it out; at times I write down only the main points, start or maybe end and type the rest on computer.

My handwriting is rough and quite unorganized so that is why I am totally dependant on the Word document.

I frequently suffer from writer’s block, where I have the whole idea in my mind but can’t convert it into writing. I usually write in the night. Especially when I am getting ready to sleep, all the ideas pour into my mind. I grab drafting pad and note it down before it abandons me.

Lately, I have started attaching images with blogs and that’s why for no reason I feel like enclosing this sun flower picture with this post.
