My blog has been under attack by spammers and pornographers. I didn’t have enough time to check the comments and today I just happen to click on one of those and it took me to some porno site. I am sorry if you too have clicked on any such comment which apparently looks fine but is linked to the indecent site.
What I like about WordPress is that it gives you total control on comment moderation. So dear readers, have patience if your comment is held for moderation or doesn’t appear for a while… it will appear when I check and approve it.
Here I’d like to mention that it was good to see that WordPress changed the style of smilies. Some of them are:

Yes, it looks if becharay has been phaansified. I would rate the rest so so as well. I liked them when MSN had upgraded their smilies to similar as well above, few years back laiken ab tau aur achay honay chaiye…
& We can differentiate among spam & original comments. So you better just delete them when you come online. Posts should show up the moment they are posted.
WordPress better introduce the CAPTCHA thing while someone comments as well, against spam.

Personally I don’t like CAPTCHA as I feel it is very bothersome but yes, it is helpful against spam. I am careful now about comments etc.
Yahoo too introduced new smilies last years but they are so big

The grinning smiley
seems a bit strange too. It’s lower jaw is just too wide! They could have made it a normal grin. Anyway, change is always good.
